We created our Earth-Kind Felting Mats to be exactly that- "Kind to our Earth". They are made from 95% pure (soft) pressed wool, they are compostable when they wear out, and the top mat can be replaced with another top mat when needed, (replacement top mats sold separately).  The bottom mat is also made from pure (medium) pressed wool, so it is a much firmer mat, and designed to support the top mat, and not to wear out as fast. The "Set" comes with both a top and bottom mat. Individual replacement mats are available for top only/bottom only. Our mats come in a large selection of sizes for all your felting needs.
