Ewe Bee Waxed Felter’s Wax 

Our amazing soft Ewe Bee Waxed Felter’s Wax for smoothing down wool fibers or to help secure wool to your wire armature by rubbing the armature with the wax prior, or applying the wax to the first layer of wool that you are attaching to the wire. Simply rub the wax “bee hive” (no need to melt), or scrape a small amount off with a stick or spoon, work between your fingers, and then wipe down your wool to smooth down flyaways, or rub on your wire to create a slightly tacky surface to help your wool adhere. There is no need to melt this wax with a heat source- it will melt with the heat of your hands and become pliable and slightly sticky to work with. 

Natural color wax, but may tint white wool, please test before using on white project. 

Our Ewe Bee Waxed Felter’s Wax comes in a nice black tin with a a twist on lid for storage. 

Our wax is made with raw organic bees wax straight from the farm, organic coconut oil, and a blend of pure essential oils. This is our own recipe, made in house, and only available through The Felted Desert. 

**This wax has a low melting point so keep away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Store at room temperature.
