Our Featured Artist for the month of March 2025 is Lynn Bierma. Lynn lives in Springfield, Illinois and winters in Apache Junction, AZ. She likes the use of mixed media materials and three dimensional artwork. She has only been felting for a few months and has twice used high quality wool from The Felted Desert to add dimension to her work. Her first gourd featured wool Nepps for the bodies of two Kokpelli figures. Her latest project incorporates a felted rabbit (which Lynn made in one of our classes), who has made her home in a beautiful gourd hand made and painted by Lynn.
